We used this cosco five point vest thing when visiting family. It was the most useless piece of equipment I have ever used.

First if your child is not a tiny child, you may as well forget it. I can't believe that Cosco did not take into consideration an average sized child when constructing this vest. My son is a big boy, but at 2 years old he was way too big. I wouldn't suggest putting a younger child in it, so I have to wonder what they had in mind.

Second after testing this vest out, or really after trying to test it out, I am not sure it would hold up in any accident. Your child would be safer in the plain old car seat belt. I never gave it a chance to be tested in an accident thankfully.

Might I suggest Cosco go back to the drawing board with this. I recommend that you don't purchase this item. I would call it unsafe, and not worth the money.
