Overall a great used/refurbished laptop

Pros: Fast, generally solid, good deal refurbished
Cons: a little heavy, speakers are way too quiet
Bought refurbished June 2006 for $500 (incl S&H). 512 RAM, 40G HD, 1.80 GHz, CD-R/W & DVD-ROM, 11b wireless card, XP
So far it's been a great deal on a laptop. It is fairly solid in construction (not a light laptop by any means) and has a nice, big screen and a plenty good keyboard, ports, etc.
My ONE complaint is that it just dies and reboots in the middle of anything, for no evident reason. Totally unpredictable and quite frustrating. Ah, computers...
Knowing that all computers are pieces of crap, this one is less stinky than most.
UPDATE (2006-08-09):
After applying Windows XP SP2, it hasn't spontaneously rebooted once. If that patch resolved the problem, maybe it was an issue with the OS image that came from the reseller.
Also, I did think of one complaint... The built-in speakers are simply TOO QUIET. In a hotel room with no background noise but the AC (admittedly, those aren't too quiet), I had to turn on the subtitles when watching a DVD with the volume all the way up on all accessible controls. There may be an OS setting to boost this.
...Still, no regrets for spending $500 on this.
