If you don't have a radio yet go out and purchase this one. It is cheap, and has a large amount of features. Trust me this is one good deal.

I have just recently purchased a cobra radio, for a steal of a deal price. Let me tell you this radio is truly great. There is volume control, so people can adjust what volume they want to send and receive messages in. It has security controls, so that if you want a private conversation without hundreds of strangers listening in, you can do so. It has a durable water resistant casing, so that if you were to accidentally drop it, or splash some water on it, the device will continue to work. It has 14 different channels so it would be a perfect addition to the work place. It has the option for a microphone and headphones to be equipped on it, once again a luxury feature. It has a call button so that if the person you are trying to reach perhaps is on a different channel from you, all you have to do is press the call button and he or she will know that you are trying to notify them. It comes with a belt clip and holster, once again making it ideal for a working environment. It has battery saving features as well as battery display options, so that you can know when your batteries are dead. And it has a nice sound radius in which you can talk. The furthest I have tried so far is two miles, and I could still hear my partner clearly. What else can I say other than this is a great purchase for the home or office or any other place for that matter. It is affordable, has a good number of features, and it durable. One of the best radio's on the market, period.
