Author's Review
I recently purchased my Tahoe and been nothing but pleased. The Tahoe has had quite a long history having been called the K-5 Blazer before its current name. Each model has been a wonderful truck, however, Chevy has now succeeded at making a big, powerful, sport utility also luxurious, friendly, and manageable.

Sure, Cadillac has quite an impressive sport-ute, too. But how do think they developed it; straight from the Tahoe. It has a few more bells and whistles and a softer suspension (that is too soft for me).

The major improvement on the new Tahoes is the AutoRide option. It uses an air pressure system to monitor the ride weight and then adjusts the truck to maintain the optimum ride height and suspension settings. The difference is phenomenal! I test drove both models (with and without Autoride) and you can definitely tell. Not so much when its just you in the car, but when you get some weight in the truck (luggage or people) the difference is huge.

I would highly recommend this option if you are going to tow anything.

The engine is silky smooth but with a gruff feeling just under the surface that lets you know its there.

I drove a Grand Cherokee before this, and I'll never go back. I loved my GC, but this spoils it.
