The Bottom Line:
If you are looking for a comfortable ride, lots of cargo and family space, safety, and dependability, definitely consider the 2001 Chevy Tahoe!
This SUV is an all-around great car to drive. I don't personally own one, but I work as a delivery person for a company, and our Tahoe is the delivery vehicle. At first, it was hard for me to get used to driving such a large vehicle (I was used to a little Mustang). But after a while, I came to prefer the Tahoe over our previous delivery vehicle (a Mercury Villager).
The Tahoe offers many features to keep the driver and riders happy. Our Tahoe has a great sound system and CD player that came with it. The front seats are powered, and you're able to shift yourself around in a few seconds. This is especially handy for me because I must adjust it everyday when my boss has been the last one to drive it (he has really long legs). The seats are comfortable, the cab is roomy, and the riding is smooth. The daytime running lights provide me with an extra sense of safety. Being high off the ground helps me see all activity around me.
Basically, I would recommend the 2001 Chevy Tahoe to anyone who wants a big SUV, a lot of space, something "family" size, a comfortable ride, or a dependable set of wheels.
