The 1999 Metro is available in three models- the Base coupe, LSi coupe and LSi sedan. All metro models offer features such as daytime running lights, Scotchgard protection and dual manual remote mirrors. The Base model comes equipped with a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder engine matched to a 5-speed manual transmission to provide the highest fuel mileage of all Chevrolet cars. The LSi coupe and sedan features a larger 1.3-liter engine, body colored bumpers and 7-spoke painted wheel covers. Safety features include dual front airbags, reinforced safety cage and front and rear crush zones. Available options on all models include 4-wheel anti-lock brakes, AM/FM stereo with 4-speakers, CFC-free air conditioning and electric rear window defogger.
