1998 LUMINA

The 1998 Chevrolet Lumina is available in three models - Lumina (Base), LS and LTZ. This is the last year of production for the Lumina; it will be replaced in 1999 by the Impala. A new option for 1998 is the OnStar System. It uses satellite technology to offer 24 hour support, route guidance, remote door unlocking and stolen vehicle tracking. In addition the new optional 3800 series 200hp V6 engine is available in the LTZ trim. Standard safety equipment has been revised to include 4-wheel anti-lock brakes; optional on the Lumina (base model). New machine-faced aluminum wheels are available with the Sports Performance Package for the LTZ. Additional engineering features include an axle ratio revised to 3.29 on all Lumina models. Minimize
