Pros: Plenty of spooky flourishes, marvelous sets, and timing both eerie and witty.
Cons: Theatrical mystery drama, with predictable characters and contrived situations.
Bottom Line:
Despite its contrived, whodunnit story, static characters and goofball shenanigans, it's still enjoyably creepy, with moody sets, ideal pacing, and a fuzzy, human claw.
