Packed with usable features

I recently upgraded from a 2 megapixel canon which I had used for about 4 years--mainly to get the higher resolution and to lose the shutter lag. Those problems certainly have been solved but I have also been taking advantage of some quite useful features built into the camera. These include the rapid continuous shooting (about 6 pics in 2 seconds), the large lcd with zoom capability (which allows you to look at details in your pictures and delete them if eyes are closed, etc.), and the various self timer options and mini-remote using a tripod.

I also ended up using the "best shot' feature which I thought was a gimmick, but it turned out to be the first time I successfully took pictures of fireworks.

While the camera is just loaded with features, and the menus are well done so that the features do not get in the way if you don't want to use them, but are pretty easy to find when you want to use them. It also helps that the lcd is so large that the menus can be viewed easily along with other status indicators.
