The Canon HV20 is just so lovely.
Pros: HD ability, manual controls, stunning video quality, accessory shoe (for external mic, video light) Cons: Some pieces may feel a little cheap to some, but to me they felt fine. Bottom Line: Great Camera For Filmmaking or Home Videos!!!
Pros: Great HD Quality! Very nice dynamic range with cinegamma, 1080p resolution, 24fps shooting & cinegamma! Cons: Small, doesn't look like a pro camera. Not enough manual controls. Bottom Line: My favorite camcorder ever
Pros: Crisp clear video and sound Cons: Nothing Bottom Line: CANON HV20 - Pocketable High Definition
Pros: Picture quality, connectivity, easy to use, battery life, HDV easy to process, 10x optical zoom Cons: HDV limitations, ergonomics, NTSC only, no firewire cable included Bottom Line: HDV Camcorder of the year 2007
Pros: Picture Quality, Fast focusing & Image Stablilization. Cons: Low quality MPEG 1 Audio only. No Canon telephone support. No software included. Connector covers. Bottom Line: You need other HD equipment to fully enjoy
Pros: High quality video in HD mode and lots of menu choices Cons: Need all the other HD compatible equipment to utilize and appreciate this cameras HD mode Bottom Line: Wow
Pros: Wonderful video quality; sound is okay but would sound better using an external mic. Cons: The design is awkward compared to my GL-1; The camera doesn't feel very solidly built. Bottom Line: The Canon HV20 in my production system
Pros: Compact, sharp, dual-mode, popular, good sound, shoe, 24p, sensitive. Cons: Tricky controls/menu/zoom, grainy low light loses red, silver paint, crude strap and viewfinder. Bottom Line: Perfect Bridge between Hobbyist and Professional
Pros: Excellent video quality Cons: Sound quality good, but humming keeps it from being great Bottom Line: Slightly overrated but decent HD Camcorder
Pros: Good price and quality compared to its competitors. Cons: Focusing issues, annoying LCD screen, lack of stop-motion feature or "anti-ground" filming. Bottom Line: |
