Very Delicate, Unreliable

Pros: Good for a little while, easy to use.
Cons: Not durable and battery life goes dead fast.
I used my Canon ZR80 for about 2 years. I was happy with it for a little while. The battery life ran out very fast so I had about four batteries I had to keep charged so I wouldn't miss anything. One day the LCD image was gone. I could play back whatever was on the tape, but I couldn't record any longer or view anything on the LCD screen or the eye piece. I've spoken to electronic repair places who informed me the problem is common and it was not worth it to ship it back to Canon to repair because it would have cost me just as much to buy a new Camcorder. Now I'm shopping for a good deal while my youngest daughters first experiences are going unrecorded.
