Had a video problem but Canon repaired for no charge

Pros: great zoom - easy to use
Cons: output picture is a little grainy-but it's only 1ccd
I purchased a Canon ZR80 used - when it came, the LCD & viewfinder was black. I did some research & found that there is a known CCD image sensor error with some of the ZR series cameras - I emailed Canon & they repaired it at no charge - regardless of warranty.
I am happy to say I have it back & it is working great - I have taken a few hours of recordings & they are awesome.
