Small and effective

Pros: Small size, good battery life, takes video clips
Cons: Video clips are 6 seconds on highest setting, red eye not always effective
The Bottom Line:
Great small portable camera for anyone looking for a digital camera with size as a major reason to purchase.
Not a very big picture person I did fine I was more often scanning pictures to send to family and friends rather then organizing the pictures I had taken. Plus many of the pictures I took were not worth developing. This lead me to look for a digital camera, and already having an Elph, I looked at the S110 and S300.
I really liked the small size of the Elph so size was an issue for me. That's one of the major selling point of the S300. It was good zoom and the picture quality is good for the kinda pictures I take, mostly of friends, family, golfing and other misc events. I mainly sync the S300 to my Sony Superslim Pro through USB which is fast and convenient. The video clip feature I use mostly to try an analyze my golf swing. However it only captures 25 frames per second so isn't the ideal device to do this.
The only problems I've come across are the Redeye not really getting rid of redeye and the flash not being powerful enough for pictures father than 30 feet. Other than that its a great little camera that I can take around anywhere and send pictures to anyone. I bought a 128 meg card to store pictures and I've never filled it to capacity. The battery life is very good getting about 150 pics with moderate use of the lcd. Which by the way is sharp and big enough for most purposes.
