Though not for everybody, the perfect camera for some.

Pros: Great pictures, long battery life, incredible macro and zoom, swivel design, easy to use.
Cons: No manual adjustments whatsoever.
The Bottom Line:
This is a specialty camera for special needs. Not everyone will appreciate it's qualities. Those who do will find this camera has no equal.
Is this a good camera for the photography nut? Those who want a lot of control over their photos? How about those who take lots of indoor pictures of people?
NO! This camera fails the above tests in my opinion.
However, there is a particular sect of the public, (my wife being one of them), who this camera is perfect for.
1st reason to buy this camera: You love to take pictures of scenery outdoors. With a 10x optical zoom, nice white balancing, and multiple "modes" including sunset, you can get photos as nice if not better than many higher-end "manual-type" digitals. Waterfalls, sunsets, birds, flowers, and more have turned out better with this camera than with mine, (no, I won't divulge which camera I use).
2nd reason to buy this camera: You love to take very close up photos. You would like to get the inside of that flower captured on film? Not a problem. This camera allows you to get within mere centimeters of the object if you desire. You can then blow up this image on your computer to see details the human eye could never capture. Incredible macro...
3rd reason to buy this camera: You sometimes take pictures of things above you. Hmmm... what could I mean by that? Well, the swivel design allows you to take pictures directly above you, below you, behind you, or anywhere in between including self-portraits. This is especially useful for photographing a downward facing flower, or a skydiver, or anything else that would normally torque your neck. No more need to point your head to where the camera points. You can simply look forward at the screen and manipulate the swivel lens to do the tilting.
If these three reasons are not enough to convince you to buy this camera, how about super simplicity? Turn it on and take a picture. It's that easy to take great photos with this camera.
