The Bottom Line:
I would buy it again any day.
This is my first Camcorder and I am literally blown away by the picture quality and how easy it is to operate. I could connect it very easily to a TV (even though my set is 10 year old) and the result was just fabulous. I am use to Canon picture quality as I have a G2 digital camera and do not intent to use this camcorder much to take still pictures. There is a slight motor noise on recording if the environment is really really quiet, but this is supposed to disappear with an accessory mic. I have not tested that yet. I paid about $580 for this from Buydig.com and am extremely happy with the whole experience.
