Excellent-but does not tolerate humidity

Pros: Excellent features, east to use, compact
Cons: still photos (1 megapixel), does not tolerate humidity
As a home movie maker and beginner videographer, I find the Elura 50 to be a truly excellent camcorder. It does everything I need and probably more, is easy to use and amazingly compact.
Just a couple drawbacks. I wish it could take higher resolution still photos (1 megapixel max). But most important, it is EXTREMELY sensitive to humidity. I took it to the Philippines and lost some footage. While I was there, I also had problems with playback, even after using a dry head cleaner. Don't plan on using this camcorder in the tropics.
