I Love This Camera

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Very easy to use. You get a lot for the price.

Cons: A thiefs dream.

The Bottom Line:
You should have at least a basic understanding about photography before getting this to make things easier, but a great first camera for a beginner. AND FUN

I first took an interest in photography in my junior year of high school. I took a photography class and loved it, it was probably the only class I took a real interest in.
We were taught everything about the photography process from everything about the camera, to taking picture correctly, to developing the pictures and using photoshop to digitally enhance them. and we used older manual cameras to start with(which are always good to.)
For my birthday I went to the local camera shop and they helped me choose this camera for my present. I loved everything about it.
It has and autofocus feature with many settings for almost anything your interested in trying with photography. I took action shots, with the rapid frame setting, portraits, depth of field, really had a great time. It's very easy to use and fun. Loading film is a snap, just roll out a small amount of film to the orange line, close it, and winds itelf up. The camera shutter, aperture and just about everything are all digitally programmable with and easy, press a button and wind a wheel setting, pressing slightly on the "take picture" button will auto adjust the lense to the right light and distance so everything is in focus. Press a little harder and it takes the picture. Hence "autofocus."
This is a great camera for someone who it more than just a little interested in photography but still just starting out, it wont break the bank. It's always good and wise to have some knowledge with a manual camera first and to at least know somewhat of what you're doing before you get something like this.
I had alot of fun with it until, my house was broken into and it was stolen. But thankfully it was one of only a few things taken and I am getting a new one very soon. I just can't stay away from it. Although I will secure it a little better this time.
