High quality and features (High price too)

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Point and shoot ease with no sacrifice on the manual settings

Cons: Pricey, Included diopter not for anyone with poor eyesight

Bottom Line:
Recommended as an upgrade from a 10d or earlier. Go with the 20d if this is your first DSLR as it is great and cheaper. Read More at Epinions.com

30D vs. 20D? Are the differences worth another purchase?

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Canon Digic II sensor, 5 fps mode, iso 3200, improved white logic

Cons: Pricey? Not a huge upgrade over a 20D

Bottom Line:
If you already own a 20D, you'll dance when you try this one. If you want to go up and can't decide the 20D vs. the 30D get this one. Read More at Epinions.com

Impressions on the CANON EOS 30D : finally mature, but still expensive

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Many features and very low noise, APS-sized CMOS gives best result with reasonable priced lenses

Cons: viewfinder a bit dark, 8 million pixels and APS-sized cmos is insufficient for studio-work.

Bottom Line:
Unless you are making prints of over A3 size, i think this camera is marvelous. Together with the 17-85 mm stabilized zoom, it is sheer unbeatable. Read More at Epinions.com
