BUST A GROOVE 2 continues the PlayStation dance party. Choose a dancer, each created using motion-captured technology and featuring new costumes. After picking a dancer, hit the dance floor in the Practice mode to get a feel for the controls. When practice is over, hit the dance scene in the One-Player mode, where the goal is to get the crowd and the camera to pay exclusive attention to you. How well you dance will determine what the next challenge will be. When your groove becomes too hot for the computer to handle, compete against friends with the Two-Player mode. No matter what mode you play, new ska, techno, disco, and hip-hop house beats provide the background for all of the action. If hearing music makes you want to shake your booty, then BUST A GROOVE 2 is the game for you.

Pros: Lotsa new moves, characters, challenging
Cons: not much different from the first..
The first was compelling, something new and fresh. The second is a sequel with the exact same components, just more added. Got rid of a few characters(poor Hamm... ;_;) and added some, some for the better and some for the worse. All in all, it is a great game, just like the first.
Nothing in this game isn't much like the second, except for harder button pressing and new moves. Enix got a new designer for this game who went a little out of whack with some of the characters(Bi-O), but I like 'em just the same. And a stupid, foolish move was done by Enix America by giving it a Teen title. The most offensive thing in there(how politically incorrect this is! -_-) is a gay guy, Michael Doi.
Thought nothing that different from the first, this game is still good fun. However, there are other games that could be taken into consideration along with this one. Take for example the classic Bemani line. BeatMania, DrumMania(PS2), Dance Dance Revolution, Dancing Stage, Guitar Freaks, and Pop'n Music. All of those games are worth checking out.
