The Bottom Line:
This is a good basic inexpensive plain paper fax with copying abilities that is very handy to have.
I never knew how handy an in home fax machine would be until I got one. I just wanted a simple fax machine with not too many bells and whistles and not too expensive for occasional use and this is the perfect match.
QUALITY
This is a good basic plain paper fax that does a good job of sending and receiving. It is not flimsy and has good guides for paper as well as a resevoir that holds about 100 sheets of paper.
EASE OF USE
The book that comes with the fax machine is very easy to follow and thorough. It is nearly impossible to program without the book (with some electronics you can kind of figure it out). The buttons are easy to read and laid out in a logical manner. This machine uses a carbon printing cartridge refill that is a little difficult to figure out the first time but is simpler after that. The cartridge costs about $20 and it is good to have an extra one on hand.
MULTIPLE USES
This is your basic plain paper fax and does not have multiple uses other than black and white copying. It can also be used as a phone, but the cord that comes on the handset is far too short to be of any real use and so I replaced mine with a longer one.
SUMMARY
This is a relatively inexpensive plain paper fax that comes in very handy. I have not thus far had any problems with sending or receiving.
