Britax Roundabout Denim
I originally purchased this car seat for a friend. She used hers for 2 1/2 years without any wear and tear. Now I have two, and the Britax Roundabouts are doing the same for our family. We did look at the other Britax models when we purchased ours seats. In particular, we looked at the Boulevard and Marathon. The other models did have more padding and extras, but these options are not necessary and even get in the way as your baby gets older.
Another great feature of this seat is that you can purchase more than one cover at a time. That way, when milk or snacks are spilled, you can easily replace a cover with a spare while the other is being washed.
As far as safety is concerned, Britax models consistently rank highest in Consumer Reports. Because of that, we didn’t even consider another brand.
For a car seat, I have been extremely happy with the Roundabout and wouldn't change my choice if I had to buy all over again. Most of our friends have also selected this model, and I have yet to hear anyone that was disappointed. This is not true for all of the baby products we have purchased.
