I originally purchased a different car seat before I bought the Britax Boulevard. I am very impressed with this seat. It is very sturdy, and I found it very easy to install. It has true side protection, it reclines and has adjustable straps and the weight limit goes up to 65 pounds. Another bonus is that you can keep this seat rear facing up to 33 pounds because although you can use a car seat in the forward facing position at 20 pounds and 1 year it is safer to keep them rear facing as long as possible. To reposition the harness straps all you have to do is turn a knob instead of rethreading the harness. The cover is nice and soft and easy to remove and wash. Once I installed this seat it took only 5 minutes to do and it is very solid. It did not move one bit.
The only draw backs I can find in this car seat is one it is expensive, the crotch strap is very short I have a very chunky baby and I had to take the extra pillow out in order for the buckle not to pinch her thighs. Overall this is a very well made car seat and I love it.
