I just purchased the Breville Electric Kettle in February of 2006 on line and paid about $79.00 for it. I do have to say that the price seemed quite high for me but now after using it for a while I think it is well worth the money. This appliance is a great addition to any kitchen for many reasons including design, functionality and overall look of the product. The design is very simple and easy to use and heats up almost twice as fast as the old electric kettle we had. Also the cord wraps underneath to have a nice and neat looking counter top. The power button has a very pleasing blue glow and turns off when the water has boiled.
