Amazing results with such a small appliance

This is one kitchen appliance purchase you will not regret. It doesn't collect dust - you will most likely use it on a daily basis.

This is the most powerful hand-held blender I have ever purchased. We went through several of the inexpensive ones (+/- $20 range), and also tried the Sanyo with the re-chargeable batteries. This Braun model is a true work horse. I have packed away many of my small kitchen appliances, including my blender, food processor and my hand mixer since purchasing this model.

This model, purchased at Sam's Club, included a wire whip attachment and a small food processor attachment along with the standard blender head. The attachments are easy to clean (in the dishwasher and forget about it) and easy to use. Nothing complex to remember, just pop on the attachment and adjust your speed. Although this model is variable speed, I find that most often I just hit the turbo button and let it work. The unit is light-weight, and works so quickly that I have never experienced any fatigue while using it, unlike some of the less powerful models.

Thus far, I have: whipped cream, made meringue, crushed ice, made Frozen Daquiris and Margueritas, chopped numerous vegetables, pureed soups, blended fabulous milk shakes and protein drinks, and I have to admit, made an emulsion of drywall mud and latex primer (by no means recommended by the manufacturer, or me, for that matter - but it sure worked great!) The cappucinos it froths up are impressive!

The only appliances I will never replace with this are my Kitchen-Aid Stand Mixer and my Vita-Mix. It is amazing how much more counter space I have since this purchase - fewer appliances out and this actually mounts on the wall with the included rack.
