Braun Multipress MP-80 240 Watts Juicer
Author's Review
I wanted to buy a juicer for my sister when I was visiting her in a small town in Maine, and the Braun juicer was the only one they sold at the hardware store. When I got it to my sister's house, I really liked the way it juiced leafy vegetables and just about anything (my Krups juicer, which I have at my home, doesn't do a very good job with soft fruits and vegetables, so the Braun is superior to the Krups in that regard). However, the power switch on the Braun broke after one use. The hardware store happily replaced it with another one, but there may be quality issues with it.
Otherwise, I was very pleased with it's other features, such as the swinging pulp compartment, so you can dump out the pulp without taking the whole thing apart, the tray to help load small fruit like grapes, and the juice catcher.
Another thing about the Krups, it didn't come with a juice catcher, and not everything fits well under the spigot. So between the two, I would recommend the Braun.
As for ease of cleaning, the two are about the same. Cleaning the fine mesh grater is a little annoying, but not really that bad.
