Like they say, get your own demo. You don't need floor standers etc for some excellent sound quality. I am *very* happy with my choice. Why all the knockers ?

Cons: You may be bludgeoned by a Bose hating whacko if you buy them.
Bottom Line:
If you want great sound out of the box,go with Bose. If you don’t have a powerful amplifier step up to the AM 15’s which are powered.
