Bose Acoustimass 10
A great sounding speaker system, especially when given the VERY small size of the speakers and the sound that they produce.
SET UP
Set up was extremely easy, plug the included wires into each speaker, connect them to the Acoustimass Bass Module, and plug into a separate amp. Very simple, took about 1 hour to have complete system set up.
SOUND
THESE SPEAKERS SOUND AMAZING. Don't be fooled by those who say Bose is way overpriced and don't sound good. This is about as far away from the truth as you can get. After researching and shopping for home theater speakers for about a month, these Bose speakers were some of the best available. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Compared to some of the top of the line speaker systems, such as the Klipsch or Boston home theater speakers, these are decent, but not the best. However, when space is a factor, and you don't have a dedicated home theater room to put HUGE speakers, this is an EXTREMELY good option. The speakers are very small, making it possible to hide them in the room. The sound that these speakers produce fill up the entire room of extremely clear sound. Coupled with a new progressive scan DVD player and a 57" Sony HDTV it sounds exceptional.
CONCLUSION
DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THOSE WHO SAY BOSE IS OVERPRICED AND POOR SOUNDING. These speakers sound absolutely awesome. They are the best sounding speakers on the market in their size. Each cube is small enough to hide away in the room. These speakers have made watching a DVD movie at home a true experience.
