Pros: Easy to program! Coffee made when you want it! No drip pouring carafe

Cons: Has a mind of it's own! Time resets itself!

The Bottom Line: 
I do not recommend this coffee post because it is suppose to be programmable and mine weren't!

After seeing what I thought was the perfect coffee pot for the $$$ on clearance at Amazon, I ordered it. The coffee pot arrived in a short time and I immediately set it up. That night I checked all of the settings and was excited when I went to bed thinking I would have nice fresh hot coffee the next morning. I woke in the morning a few minutes before the time it was set to begin and I waited...and waited...and waited. Nothing. I then walked into the kitchen and looked to see what was the matter. The time on the digital display was three hours earlier! This continued over the next week or so and I even tried to outsmart it by setting the time ahead three hours. LOL No matter what I tried, it seems as if this coffee pot would reset the time back three hours every three hours or so. I contacted Amazon to do an exchange.

Amazon was really great about the way they handles all of this and my second coffee pot arrived very quickly. I then boxed up the first one and shipped back to them. OK, now, I thought "whew" what an odd coffee pot and I proceeded to set up the second replacement coffee pot.

Oh dear, the next morning at 14:45 LOL there again was NO COFFEE made for me. This clock not only reset it's own time, it joined the military! I could not do anything to get this thing to set up correctly! For such a "smart" coffee pot, I have to say it sure outsmarted me! I immediately notified Amazon for a return and refund.

OK, so now what do I do? Hmmmmm I headed over to WalMart.com and looked at their Black and Decker programmable coffee makers and found one for under $30 that had similar characteristics, but somewhat different called Black and Decker Home Programmable Coffee Maker and ordered it. I have been using this one now for almost two months and have had NO problems with it whatsoever. My guess is that Amazon got a load of dud coffee pots!
