Pros: Great Coffee, Easy to use, Looks Cool, Made in Germany. Cons: Does not heat coffee long enough. Can not put all parts in dishwasher. Bottom Line: Bodum Santos Electric Vacuum Coffee Maker
Pros: Excellent coffee! Unique design and can be kept warm for up to two hours. Cons: The filter attachment can be dangerous and the pot is impossible to clean. Bottom Line: Smart brew's too hot?
Pros: Appearance and cost couldn't be beat! Cons: the smell & taste of overheating plastic discouraged from further use. Read More Power switch failed, fire hazard, unit barely used
Pros: Easy to use, good temperature, made OK coffee, affordable. Cons: Poorly made, no service centres, no spare parts, no assistance from Black & Decker/Applica. Bottom Line: Faulty power switch, fire hazard, no service centres, no replacement parts, poor customer service from Applica (Black & Decker Home). My Smartbrew was possessed! ;o)
