Pros: safe, effective, less additives than other brands
Cons: sedating, so not to be taken while driving or working
It is a wonderful medication. As far as over the counter allergy products this has to be my favorite. Although true dye allergies are rare, this takes out the excess most products add for visual effect. It has multiple uses including allergies and minor insomnia. It has very few side effects and is safe and effective. Safe, simple and effective, what more can you ask from an over the counter antihistamine. Major downfall is in the sedation although this can be an advantage. Especially to the occasional insomniac. It is the first dye free medication i have heard of. A unique concept for the growing population of patients who believe the fewer synthetic ingredients the better.
