Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) and Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) return as partners on the Miami Tactical Narcotics Team in director Michael Bay's (PEARL HARBOR, ARMAGEDDON) sequel to the 1995 blockbuster BAD BOYS. Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, and Gabriel Union are at the top of their game. You can't go wrong with the karma that the three of them display on screen.
We are hollering for Bad Boys II! I loved this movie. It was my kind of flick. I arrived at the last show before regular rates were charged and it was packed. We were all ready to see the odd couple jump into action. They did not let us down! The movie came on instantly satisfying the crave for laughter, instantly granting us the action we all want to see when we go to see an action film. These boys were BAD!!! While we know that the two cops are narcotics officers. They always seem to find their drug of choice, Excitement. This movie was made very well. The best car chases I've seen in a long time. Some of the best riveting scenes in cinema. Oh Boy!! Our crowd was off the hook with comments, while Martin and Will race through the streets causing damage all over the city chasing the bad guys. Big ups to Gabriel Union! She represented the women in law enforcement. Don't ever under estimate survival. Some of the best undercover work in theater. She was an excellent baby sister. I'm a new fan.
My readers know that I don't like to give away a movie however, I got to tell you. The part where Martin gets shot in the behind is just one of the funniest parts in the movie, and you will still have a lot of laughter to go before the end of the movie. I laughed so hard, I cried. I will surely see it again before it leaves the theaters.
