Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) and Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) return as partners on the Miami Tactical Narcotics Team in director Michael Bay's (PEARL HARBOR, ARMAGEDDON) sequel to the 1995 blockbuster BAD BOYS. Pros: Very Very Funny
Cons: you have to be open minded
The Bottom Line:
It is a very funny movie, if you ready to laugh start watching!!!
This is one of the movies that I thought was very funny after seeing Rush Hour Two with Christucker and Jackie Chan. I really could not find a movie that I could put in that category. You have to be prepared, to watch a movie like Bad Boys II. The begriming of the movie of cause starts up with a lot of action and 90% of the time you know it is Will Smith and Martin’s felt that the whole mess began in the first place.
Even thought what I am about to say may sound cheesy, the truth is there is a meaning to every movie that they both make, it is either, they are trying to solve a crime, save someone, or put an end to something bad, which are some of the things that you look at before you watch a movie, of cause other than the actors being excellent at what they do anyway. Bad Boys II has a lot of action, a little drama, and a lot of comedy. There are parts of the movie in which they are trying to make a serious point, which mostly is supposed captures the audiences mind, (Example: When Martin and Will Smith went to a man that had connections on how to get in contact with a drug lord, and he told them that they had to give him something in return before he gave the both of them any info. , martin and Will Smith broke almost everything in the store, I mean, just acting a fool!!) These usually are one of the most funniest parts in the movie.
If you have not seen the movie? you have to see it to understand what am saying, especially if you are a fan of Will Smith or and of Martin Lawrence. You have no idea what you are missing!!!, and if you have already seen it and you think you don't understand something, see it again! I know I did.
