The 2003 BMW Z4 Roadster is a regular, everyday driving car that can be used a commuter or a handy weekend cruiser to get to the cottage or the golf course. However, it is also one of the most distinctive, capable and desirable cars on the market in the mid-luxury 2-seater sports car class. Choose between a couple of different and engines and, unlike last years very successful Z3, forget about the Coupe model. There isnt one. Instead pick either the manual or power soft-top convertible.

Pros: Uncommonly stable, extremely refined and a marked improvement over Z3 in many ways
Cons: Maybe too refined for a roadster- drive by wire vagueness, styling points...
Bottom Line:
Everything the Z3 should have been and more... Though perhaps too much "more" because the fun seems to have gone away. Nevertheless, incredible engineering and refinement- a Real BMW star.

Cons: Seats feel a bit cheap, options are expensive

BMW's masculine change to the "cute" Z3 sports a larger body, sufficient power and lots of highway enjoyment. Price and options are a bit high, though.

Pros: It´s Bad, It´s Fast and it MAKES you SMILE!
Cons: A few sharp edges too many, but at 250Kmh on the Autobahn? Who Cares!

Drive one, It has what I call the Grin Factor. Get in accelerate and SMILE(It takes a few hours for the Grin to go away).
