Bavarian Muscle Car
| Author's Rating: |

Pros: great haneling, serious power, luxury appointments. Classy car.
Cons: maintainence might be high---mileage not great
The Bottom Line:
love the car, so far it's been wonderful. Bavarian muscle car.
I've only had this car for a month, and it has cost me 350 bucks in cooling system work. But the rest of the system is new, so I should be OK. It's a 2001 with 83,000 miles.
This is an awsome automobile. I've driven Jaguars, Audis, Ferraris, Alfa Romeos...this is right up there. The handeling reminds me of my old Fiat 124 sport coupe (hard top), when it was running LOL, or an Alfa...Solid and presice. I can't get it to squeel or even complain at all on dry pavement no mater how hard I put it into a curve. It's heavy, because of the V-8, but the power of a 280 hp motor coupled to a 6 speed manual is crazy.
The mileage isn't even that bad either. I have a V-8 Ford truck and it gets far worse mileage. On the highway on long trips I can get an easy 30 MPG, since in 6th gear at 65 the motor only turns 1800 RPM. If you don't lead-foot all over the place, you'll see around 20 average. Not bad for a car that can do 0 to 60 in 6 seconds.
For the price (I paid 9500) this can not be beat. The sport package is the iceing on the cake. M series wheel and shift knob, low profile 17 in tires and 35% window tint, with black chrome all around. Badass.
I hope I like it this much in 2 years. If I do, I'll be a happy man.
