This season saw little more than revisions in standard equipment. A 525i Touring station wagon debuted in spring 1992 with a two-panel sunroof that opens over both the front and rear seats. Wagons feature a load-leveling suspension, and ride larger tires than the sedan.

Best car I had so far! 1992 BMW 525i 5-speed
Pros: Do-it-yourself repairs; comfort' handling; luxury, high value for money
Cons: Premium gas; every mechanic and dealer will try to rob you

Pros: buttery smooth engine, even with over 156,000 miles, beautifully appointed interior, good exterior looks
Cons: rather poor gas mileage (17 city/25 highway)
