I am in the military and often find myself traveling to area's without accessible television viewing and this was a great investment to have at those times I had nothing. It was compact enough to carry with me and had a great picture even a near blind person could view. I also find myself and family making many car trips to visit family every year and this has shown to be very useful for passengers especially those with children. Although I don't recommend this I must say I caught myself looking at the player while it was almost parallel with me and I could see the picture as if I were in front of it, wow! I have viewed other portable dvd players and this one was viewable from all angles possible. If I could improve anything on this it would be the volume control to be louder since the picture sharp clarity allows someone to see the screen from a good 10 feet away. Absolutely no complaints with the remote control or battery adapter that comes with this system and oh yes the important car adapter that saves using the battery when traveling in a car. This an item well worth it's money if you have a use for one!
