Pros: Good battery life, ease of use, good picture and sound.
Cons: cumbersome and just a wee bit heavy because of battery.
The Bottom Line:
I came here b4 we bought it and am indebted to this website. This place is better than Consumer Reports. I would definitely get this dvd player again.
I found this at Costco for $278. Target wanted $288 for the Eddie Bauer model which I think is the same model I have. We bought it for long trips for the kids. We traveled over 7500 miles and the battery conked out after 2/3rds of the trip! Pleasantly surprised. May get another battery but don't think it's necessary. After all there's the ac/dc.
Again, we got it primarily to keep kids occupied but it does fine by my book too. I think it's well worth what we paid for it but even if you find it for the est. price that's a good deal.
Oh, I forgot, we had to return the first one we bought. It didn't work, no video at all. No probs though just a little inconvenient.
