Set in 1910, this Disney animated classic offers plenty of adventure, humor and music (especially performances by Maurice Chevalier). After high-society cat Duchess (Eva Gabor) and her three kittens inherit a fortune from their mistress, a greedy butler plots to get rid of them--and collect the cash himself. The villainous servant kidnaps the entire feline family and takes them far away from their comfortable Paris home. A bunch of animal pals come to the rescue however, and help restore the cats to their proper place. The heroic rescuers include the friendly alley cat Thomas O'Malley, the gallant mouse Roquefort, and the hilarious hounds Lafayette and Napoleon. THE ARISTOCATS was the last film personally supervised by Walt Disney himself.

Aristocats! Everybody Wants To Be A Cat, is one of the best songs they feature on the tape. As well as, You Must Sing Your Scales And Your Arpeggios.
A story of 3 high class kittens and 1 mamma cat living in a mansion with the Dutchess, who pampers them and makes her personal butler tend to their every need. One day the same butler over hears that she is going to leave everything to them in her will and he sets off. Doses them with some sleeping pills in their milk and off to lala land they go. Meanwhile, he scoops them off and drives away with them. In a near head on collision the basket with all four cats falls out of the vehicle and lands safely beside a stream.
The next morning the potion wears off and they are totally confused and bewildered as to how they got there. They set off back to Paris, and have many adventure's with tomcats and geese along the way. Action and adventure, with a touch of a love story.
In the end, the butler is packaged up into a trunk, with the help of the horse and many many cats. Delivery driver picks him up and off to timbucktoo he goes, literally.
My daughter loves this movie. It's has a very sweet story and the personality of the kittens is just adorable.
