Pros: None.

Cons: Big, noisy, only cools 50% of operating time.

Bought the CPL 14000E and wish we had done our homework.  If you are going to buy a portable AC, spending the extra $$ for a dual hose unit is critical.  The single hose units have to cool both the compressor and cool the room air.  Since these two functions share one hose, the unit has to switch between cooling the room and then cooling the compressor.  As a result, the unit is really only cooling the room half the time it's operating.  The dual hose design allows one hose to cool the room and one to cool the compressor, so its cooling 100% of the time.

That said, the CPLM 14000E did a horrible job, barely cooling a 300 sq ft room.  We've since replaced it with a SoleusAir LX-120 dual hose model, which is like having an arctic blast machine, keeping a 700 sq. ft room at 72 degrees regardless of the outside temp.  It's also an "all season" model, that has a heater.  Even without the rebates ($300), the extra money for the dual design would have been worth i.
