This game got my attention when I first heard of it, Akuji sounded like it might be cool,and for the most part it was.You are Akuji,the leader of a powerful tribe, who will soon be maried and eventualy bring peace to all the tribes, but Akujis evil brother rips his heart out and sends him to hell (if thats his idea of brotherly love, I think i'll pass.).So Akuji must escape the underworld and get revenge.
The graphics were voodooish (is that a word?) and creepy. Akuji looked really cool, Semedi looked funky and overall the game looked great.
The controll needed work though, as it was hard at times to manuver Akuji through some areas.The spells were easy to use, but the camera really messed things up, like most 3-D games of this kind.
The sounds were good, the voices were clear and added effect to the game.
Other than that the sounds were average.
If you like voodoo adventure, I suggest you try this and give Shadowman a try too.
