With its sleek, sporty styling, the new 2005 Acura TSX is highly contemporary, yet a timeless masterwork, designed to endure well into the future. Its 200-hp i-VTEC® engine accelerates smoothly in any gear and engine speed through either a close-ratio 6-speed manual or a 5-speed Sequential SportShift with Grade Logic Control automatic transmission. Its outstanding handling and agility is due partly to the engine's lightweight materials. There is also an abundance of luxury amenities and innovative safety features that add to this dynamic sports car's remarkable performance, craftsmanship and style.

Pros: comfortable, superior navigation, bluetooth, good gas mileage
Cons: Not much power
The Bottom Line:
Highly recommended for the right person. If you are looking for high end luxury, or a sports car, this is not for you. Simple but stylish, comfortable with cool gadgets.
On December 13, 2005, I purchased a black exterior, tan leather interior 2006 TSX with Navigation. I generally consider myself a frugal person, and fully intended to buy a used car. However, when I sat in and drove the TSX, I knew this was the car I wanted.
This is a car for someone who likes the comforts of a luxury model, like a lexus ES, or Mercedes C class, but not the price tag. I used to drive a BMW 318i convertible. The Acura TSX is far more comfortable. The leather is softer, and doesn't get as hot on sunny days. I have seen navigation systems in other brands, and I don't think any of them compare. The bluetooth sends it over the top. I used to lose cell headphones all the time, but the quality of the bluetooth blows away anything else I have tried.
The Drive: It's not a sports car. It doesn't have loads of torque, horsepower or any of that other stuff. It's a four cylinder that gives you just enough power when you need it, but you won't win any street races.
Gas mileage: appx 31 hwy, 24 street. I drive a mix of both and average about 27mpg total.
Maintenance: I drive a lot of miles. I already have over 12,000 miles. I have not had any problems yet, but it's still pretty new.
Like I said in the title, I plan to drive this car ten years from now.
