When I traded in my 2002 Mercedes ML430 for a 2004 Touring MDX I may have lost some prestige, but I gained a considerably superior vehicle. The MDX is an interesting cross between an SUV, a sport sedan and a minivan (7 seats). It makes a lot of trade offs to be a vehicle that is very capable on many fronts if not outstanding in any one. You can take it off road - but do so with care. You will enjoy fast windy roads - yet here is an ultra safe soccer-dad's family car. It has only a V6, yet it is considerably faster than my V8 Mercedes. It's styling is not a head snapper but has solid good lines. It is a little pricey - but it will hold its value.

I hope they integrate iPods into future models. Auto-on headlights that can be adjusted to turn on at various levels of light would be nice.

My local dealer service is good.
