The Acura 3.2TL returns this model year with minor changes. Standard equipment now includes an emergency internal trunk release and carpeted floor mats. The only available option for the 3.2TL is the Acura Satellite-linked DVD navigation system. Improved for 2001, this navigation system has 3.7 million additional points of interest and covers the entire continental United States. The 225-hp, 24-valve VTEC engine is 18 percent lighter this year, and meets both LEV and ULEV emissions standards. The five-speed automatic transmission features Sequential Sporshift mode, putting gear selection in the hands of the driver, with shifts occurring 10 percent quicker than automatic mode. The 3.2TL is covered by a 4-year/50,000 mile limited warranty. Minimize

2002 Acura 3.2 TL Type S

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Acceleration, Ride, Comfort, and a Surprising Head Turner.

Cons: Steering wheel has no telescoping adjustment, no folding rear seats (only a pass-through)

The Type S satisfies the needs of a family and a wannabe racer for about $30,000. Highly recommended by a 50 y/o male with a 5 year old son. Read More at Epinions.com

Type S - more for your money

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: 260hp engine, beautiful interior, clutchless manual, classy shape

Cons: rear leg space is a bit tight, no fold-down rear seat

Bottom Line:
Overall, I would highly recommend this car because it is not that hard to rationalize over a top of the line Accord or Camry. Read More at Epinions.com
