Call of Duty Black Ops Computer Game
Black ops has been on everyones mind ever since it was announced in April. As you probably know the Call of Duty has constantly pounded out amazing breath-taking games ever since 2003. They have done it again. The Call of Duty games usually follow 2 or more characters and their tours in the army. They are first person shooters with the reputation of one of the most realistic war-game. They are world renown for their epic campaigns and great addicting multiplayer. The Call of Duty series has been abound since 2003 and has released a number of games, a total of 7 on systems such as Playstation and Xbox, and a total of 6 games on handhelds such as PSP, Nintendo DS, and Ipod/Iphone.
Black-Ops takes place in the Cold War era with almost the same variety of guns as COD Modern warfare 2. When i mean the same i mean that literally. The guns and weapons you used in MW2 are almost a dead match to those in Black-Ops. But don't let this be a downer for you. The game seems to have changed dramatically for the better. Each gun feels and sounds unique, which was a problem with me for Modern Warfare 2. The amount of customizability is remarkable, with multiple attachments and perks. Also they did a good job at making the game more competitive and balanced. They have removed the shotguns and machine pistols from the secondary class to the primary class, which i think is awesome. Along with that they have released new game modes under the title "Wager Matches". In these you can gamble with points you earn from kills, etc. Some of my favorites include "Sticks and Stones" and "Gun Game". You'll have to find more about these by just playing them =).
The campaign as always is simply outstanding, providing extra entertainment between online matches. You take the place of Alex Mason, a member of the SOG, Jason Hudson, a member of the CIA, and pilots of the amazing SR-71 Black-bird. The game takes place in so many amazing and beautiful locations such as Laos, Vietnam, and the Arctic.
After you finish the campaign you get something that many of you will be familiar with......ZOMBIES! Not only is there two zombies modes to begin with, but theres a brand new Zombie game!! Its called Dead Ops Arcade, usually shortened to DOA. It takes an overhead view of a large amount of the battlefield as you use the analog stick to move and turn. You also can get a variety of weapons including the basic assault rifles to the flamethrower! **Another thing i love are the funny sayings the John F Kennedy (Yes the president) says in the survival zombie game. (Cold War zombies?)
The graphics i have to say seem the same as MW2. In some scenes in online multiplayer i actually thought they were worse, eg. shadows, anti-aliasing. The controls are the same as all the other recent Call of Duty games. The feel, the senses, the excitement, all the things they lost in Modern Warfare 2 I think they have gotten back, including our imaginations. Yet again Treyarch (publisher) has one upped the competition with another ADDICTIVE game.
**As a warning to parents, this game constantly contains large amounts of violence, cursing, blood and gore. It is not recommended for children since statistics show that games like this increase anger and violence in a child. Monkey see monkey do.**

Pros: Exciting feel, increased enjoyability. Extremely better than MW2. Multiplayer is outstanding. Wager matches. Zombies!!
Cons: Somewhat aggressive/violent gaming community.
The Bottom Line:
Simply indescribable. You need to play it to understand the epicness of this game. One of the best games of the year.
