Pros: Fast acceleration, comfortable, quiet. Responsive handling and attractive styling. Very good value.
Cons: Don't like the fake wood grain accents, Having them painted over in gun metal grey.
It's been now 2 months since I purchased my 06 Sonata V6 and have been extremely pleased with its road manners and performance. I was surprised at how many other quick sedans I was able to out accelerate putting to shame quite a few arrogant drivers. Yesterday was the biggest surprise when 2 teens driving daddy's brander supercharged Range Rover wanted to test me and I easily pulled ahead of them when the light turned green, only seeing their fancy xenon headlights in my rearview mirror. Today I purchased a highflow air filter which adds some noticable power (and it gives me more MPG) also now I fill with mid grade fuel so now my Sonata is even quicker. Car and Driver did a road test of the Sonata reporting 0-60 in only 6.6 seconds! I assume with my air filter and mid grade fuel I may be doing 0-60 at 6.0-6.2 seconds.
