Pros: GREAT MPG, GOOD 4CYL POWER, ROOMY INSIDE/TRUNK, SHARP STYLING
Cons: DRIVER SEAT A LITTLE SHORT, EASILY STAINED INTERIOR
We love our 06 Sonata GL 4cyl. Great power from a 4cyl, no trouble merging/passing, and really good gas MPG. A trip from north NJ to VA beach only used 1/2 tank of gas! The car is roomy inside, roomy trunk, sharp styling inside and outside as well. I love the gas struts on the hood and trunk, no prop rod or hinges digging into trunk!.
The few downsides are a drivers seat a little short for taller people, and interior color choices a little too light that many stains shows [we have a 3year old so buy a can of SPOT SHOT-works well]. Overall a great buy for $18,100 with discounts and rebates. In one year we have managed to put over 25K miles with no mechanical issues at all! Average MPG is 28MPG overall! The car feels solid and dependable. This is our 4th Hyundai and wont be the last.
