The rear-wheel drive G35 is powered by an advanced, 260-horsepower V6 engine mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode. The G35’s performance is enhanced by a 4-wheel independent suspension with lightweight aluminum components and highly aerodynamic styling – including a coefficient of drag of just 0.27 and zero degrees of front lift. The G35 is positioned to compete against current popular sport sedans such as the BMW 3-series, Lexus IS300 and recently redesigned Audi A4 3.0.

The Bottom Line:
This is the best performance car for its money. Worry free and fun to drive everyday, even on long trips.
I had this coupe for about 3 months now. It drives so well that it is a pleasure to sit and steer this machine.
The first thing that I noticed was its crispy handling. It almost makes you engage the corner faster than you should to challenge the car.
The next thing was its brakes. I don't have the Brembo brakes but it is still very responsive. It stops the car as soon as it smells my foot. One draw back is the wear on the front tire. Tread wear rating of 220 in W rated tire isn't ideal for long term uses.
The acceleration is very adequate. However, it hesitates very slightly from the dead stop. May be it is because of the automatic transmission. It feels 0.5 seconds late than my foot. From any other speed, it has very satisfying acceleration. It sounds very nice, too.
The only problem I have so far is the front head room. I'm 6 ft tall and my hair brushes against the ceiling. It is annoying. In the afternoon it gets better as my spine gets shorter a little.
My 4 year old daughter likes the car very much. She is happy to crawl right to the back and seats herself on the booster seat. Oh, the back seat belt locks up too frequently. But you can free it as easily.
