The rear-wheel drive G35 is powered by an advanced, 260-horsepower V6 engine mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode. The G35’s performance is enhanced by a 4-wheel independent suspension with lightweight aluminum components and highly aerodynamic styling – including a coefficient of drag of just 0.27 and zero degrees of front lift. The G35 is positioned to compete against current popular sport sedans such as the BMW 3-series, Lexus IS300 and recently redesigned Audi A4 3.0.

Pros: Comfort to drive, good handling, corners well, great looks and fast fast fast.
Cons: Back seat a little tight, driver side set auto adjustment could work better.

The Bottom Line:
Buy one and you will be happy!!!
I have had this car for almost one month now and I can't stop driving it. I read the other reviews and do not mostly agree with many. I find the handling great, the horsepower and torque far more than adequate, the creature comforts above average and the styling superior. I do wish it had more room in the back seat area but then it wouldn't be a g 35 coupe.
Nissan (infiniti in Japan) could upgrade some options on the coupe. One being the self adjusting drivers seat which can be a pain. But this is one of the best cars to drive I have owned and I have owned (or leased) everything from a corvette to an expedition. That said, I would not have been able to move directly from the expedition to the g 35 without a severe case of feeling totally closed in.
Some people feel the 18" wheel package has a rough ride, but I must say during the first few days I wasn't sure adding them was the right thing to do I now know it was. Not only do they look great but the ride seems to be getting softer with time. Maybe this is me getting used to it, but my passengers now do not notice the roughness that seemed obvious early on . Since I went from a maxima to this care I am very happy and feel I took a big step up. I agree that a digital clock would have been easier to read and I think would have blended with the dash more than the analog one, but it's not bad. All and All this is a great car if you need (or want) power, good handling, extremely good looks and your money's worth.
However, Bose speakers and Nissan (Clarion) radio --have been trouble in the past so I keep my fingers crossed that the same is not still true for the 2004 Infiniti. I can't recommend this car enough.
