1998 AM General Hummer

The 1998 Hummer is available in four models: 2-door Enlarged Cab Hard Top, and 4-door Open Top, Hard Top and Wagon. With a ground clearance of 16 inches, its capable of navigating a steep approach and departure angle. The Hummer powerplants include the standard 6.5 liter 170 horsepower diesel engine or the optional 6.5 liter 195 horsepower turbodiesel engine. The optional Runflat Tire System allows vehicle to travel up to 20 miles at 30 mph on flat tires. The Central Tire Inflation System (CTIS) allows the driver to inflate or deflate tires while in motion. The Hummer is also equipped with a standard 25 gallon fuel capacity plus a 17 gallon reserve.
